A FAMILY LEGACY

It’s strange how a sound or a smell can take you right back to being a kid.

For Power River founder, Matt Kline, it's the sound of old country Christmas music and the smell of good food and fresh chocolate pie. Thirty years ago, that meant Christmas Eve at the Kline's in a little town along the Potomac river - quiet, hardworking, and steady, just like the water it was built on.

He’ll never forget the year the power went out.

There was no stress as a kid like the fear that something might interrupt Christmas morning.

But good dads always have a way of finding a solution.

And he had a great dad—who just happened to be a master electrician.

That night, his dad rolled an old generator out of the garage, fired it up, and got to work getting power back to the house. He was right there with him, like so many other times, holding tools and learning lessons.

He didn’t appreciate it then, but that night he learned something he never forgot:

A generator isn’t a luxury when you live out here. It’s a necessity to keep life moving.

Thirty years later, power outages are more common than ever—and dependable power matters even more now than it did back then.

That’s why Power River Generators was started.

It was built to honor Matt's dad, and the little river town where he was taught to take care of people.

Today, Power River Generators doesn’t just install generators. They protect Christmas mornings, quiet nights, and the peace of knowing families are covered—no matter what the weather or the power grid brings.

Power River gives you the power to keep life moving, and service you can count on.
